5 Fall Marketing Opportunities for Agents

5 fall marketing opportunities for agents

Fall is finally here. The leaves are changing, the weather’s cooling, and a whole slew of new marketing opportunities are starting to emerge.

It’s true: With fall come community events, family get-togethers, and tons of ways to get your name out there and start drumming up new business. Will you take advantage of them?

Here are just a few of the fun marketing strategies you can try out this fall:

1. Sponsor a baseball team.

Little League teams are just starting up for the year, so it’s the perfect time to sponsor a local team, field, or even a full league. Most times, this will get your name on jerseys or even allow you to place signs and billboards at the field. That’s guaranteed exposure to hundreds of people every week.

2. Sign up for a festival.

Nearly every community and school has some sort of fall festival, pumpkin patch, or trunk-or-treat event, so find yours and sign up to be a vendor. You can hand out candy (and business cards), deck out your car in spooky decor, or volunteer to run activities. Just make sure to wear a name tag or shirt with your agency on it.

3. Send out your favorite recipe.

Thanksgiving is quickly approaching, so print out your favorite recipe on a postcard, and send it out to neighborhoods you frequently work in. You can bet it will get pinned to plenty of fridges (and if it’s a really great recipe, passed on to friends and family, too!)

4. Be smart about trick-or-treating.

If kids regularly trick or treat in your neighborhood, use it as a marketing opportunity and put your name out there. Instead of just handing a single piece of candy, create small bags of treats and include a business card or magnet in them, too. When parents go through the candy at the end of the night, they’ll see your business!

5. Deck the halls.

If you have a storefront, deck it out with pumpkins, a nice wreath, and other eye-catching decor that will draw attention to the space. You could also take it in a spooky direction or maybe even host a fun haunted house to get your business noticed.
