EmbRACE Day at Dover Motor Speedway: Embrace Is Making Some Noise!

If you missed this exciting event, you definitely won’t want to miss the next one. Dover Motor Speedway hosted a NASCAR triple-header event from Friday, April 29, through Sunday, May 1, 2022, complete with racing, family fun, and music! Drivers Kurt Busch and Bubba Wallace, part of Embrace-partnered 23XI Racing, took their rubber to the road on Sunday’s marquee 400-lap, 400-mile DuraMAX Drydene 400 NASCAR Cup Series race.

The fully branded Embrace Home Loans Stage welcomed lively entertainment from talented artists throughout the weekend in Dover, including a pre-race performance on Sunday from Delaware’s own Jimmie Allen, a Grammy nominee, and Country Music Association New Artist of the Year.

Homecoming for rising country music star

Allen took the Embrace Home Loans Stage on Sunday at 12:45pm in Victory Plaza. Not only did his performance offer an electrifying dash of entertainment before the weekend’s final race, but it also represented something of a homecoming for Allen, who hails from Milton, Delaware.

In just a few years, Allen has garnered many awards and nominations, released several songs that launched him to the top of the charts, and graced a variety of TV specials with his appearance. He was nominated for Best New Artist at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards this April and in March co-hosted the 57th Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas.

Following his chart-topping U.S. country airplay single “Best Shot” in 2018, Allen returned to the # 1 slot with “Make We Want To” in 2020 and “Freedom Was a Highway” in 2022. His songs have garnered over 1 billion on-demand streams, and his new album “Tulip Drive” drops on June 24.

Embrace Home Loans was thrilled to be a central part of such an exciting weekend event. As part of our partnership with 23XI Racing, owned by NBA legend Michael Jordan and three-time Daytona 500 winner Denny Hamlin, we cheered on Kurt Busch and Bubba Wallace, who were driving the Embrace-branded No. 45 and No. 23 cars, respectively, in Sunday’s 400-lap, 400-mile finale. Here was the complete racing schedule:

• Friday, April 29: General Tire 125 ARCA Menards Series East race (5:30 pm)
• Saturday, April 30: A-GAME 200 NASCAR Xfinity Series Dash 4 Cash race (1:30 pm, FS1)
• Sunday, May 1: DuraMAX Drydene 400 presented by RelaDyne NASCAR Cup Series race (3 pm, FS1)

Embrace also had a fan-facing booth set up for the race where fans could come meet local loan officers and play games for a chance to win promotional prizes and enter to win tickets to a future race in 2022.
