Embrace Employee Spotlight: Lisbeth Najarro and Roger Dias
There’s a lot to love about Embrace Home Loans, but one of our strongest assets has always been our employees. We have teammates who have been with us for 10, 20, even 30+ years. And we’ve also been hiring new employees at a furious pace recently.
In this Employee Spotlight, we’ll be featuring two Embrace teammates — one new employee, and one employee who has already been with us for a while. Each will give different perspectives on the Embrace experience and a little more personal info so you’ll be able to get to know them better.

ROGER DIAS, Mortgage Loan Associate
What is your official title and what do you do at Embrace?
Mortgage Loan Associate. I’m in Embrace’s training and mentorship program that is designed to guide me into becoming a Direct Loan Officer.
What made you want to work at Embrace?
I have always wanted to make the move into the real estate world of some sort. I was happily referred to Embrace by Raul Villareal and recruited by Vernon Baskerville. With my background, they thought I would be a great fit and with the research I did on the industry and company I couldn’t have agreed more. I feel a great sense of community and family in the culture and know I made the right choice.
How has it been starting a new job during COVID? And just working for Embrace in general?
Starting a new job during COVID has been scary and the smoothest process at the same time. I took quite the leap making the change in career that I did with it also being mid-pandemic. The onboarding team, the training team, my teammates, and my members of leadership (shout-out to Sean Delaney) have made this process easy and I couldn’t be happier.
What did you do for a living before you came to Embrace?
Prior to Embrace, the majority of my career was spent at Verizon Wireless where I was a General Manager.
We’d love to get to know you a little better! Tell us about yourself.
I grew up in Central Falls, RI. I currently live in Warwick, RI where I live with my girlfriend, three dogs (Akira, Coco, & Simba) with our school of fish. My free time is spent with them at home, playing video games (I’m a bit of a nerd), while also staying active with a slew of sports. I play volleyball and soccer weekly for a league in Warwick. I just started playing tennis and golf and while I’m currently awful at them, I don’t plan to give up quite yet.
LISBETH NAJARRO, Senior Loan Officer
What is your official title and what do you do at Embrace?
I am a Senior Loan Officer at the Fairfax, Virginia office.
How long have you worked for Embrace?
Since June 2016.
What made you want to work at Embrace?
My husband is a real estate agent and he was working with a loan officer at Embrace. She mention that she needed an assistant and they brought me on board.
What’s one of your favorite Embrace memories?
They are so many. One that touches my heart was after a surgery I had, I received flowers at my house from my Embrace family. Also the support I received to become a loan officer.
How has it been working from home? Has Embrace made it easier for you in any way? Are you back in the office now?
It has been great. I don’t have to lose three hours of my day — two driving to/from the office and one getting ready. 🙂
