Embrace Employee Spotlight: Kyle McGaw and Nick McGaw
There’s a lot to love about Embrace Home Loans, but one of our strongest assets has always been our employees. We have teammates who have been with us for 10, 20, even 30+ years. And we’ve also been hiring new employees at a furious pace recently.
In this Employee Spotlight, we’ll be featuring two Embrace teammates — one new employee, and one employee who has already been with us for a while. Each will give different perspectives on the Embrace experience and a little more personal info so you’ll be able to get to know them better.

How long have you worked for Embrace?

All of the Orange Weeks I’ve been a part of.

KYLE MCGAW, Learning Specialist Team Leader
What is your official title and what do you do at Embrace?
Learning Specialist Team Leader, managing the Embrace Support desk under Talent Development. I really enjoy working in Support, as it’s very rewarding helping your teammates and fun getting to troubleshoot issues. Like solving a puzzle!
How long have you worked for Embrace?
I have worked for Embrace for 16 years. Time flies when you love what you do.
What made you want to work at Embrace?
Worked as a temp during the summer converting paper files to digital and was offered a position in Secondary Financing.
What’s one of your favorite Embrace memories?
Looking back, it’s hard to choose just one, but the days we get to go out and help our community as a team really stick out. One year we volunteered at Battleship Cove and got a VIP look inside the ships.
How has it been working from home? Are you back in the office now?
Working from home has made life easier. For training, you can all be looking at the same screen, without having to crowd around one user. I find it is easier to focus when needed, with less distractions. Currently, I am working a hybrid office/home schedule.
We’d love to get to know you better! Tell us about yourself.
I was born in Newport, RI, and live with my wife Jerrica, three dogs (Layla, Hooper, and Riggs) in Tiverton, RI, where I was raised. I am an avid fisherman, and love to watch the Bruins and Patriots.
